Dan has over thirty years experience in combustion and air pollution control systems design, marketing and project execution. Dan has been consulting in the areas of combustion and gas cleaning system design and operation since 1996. He has worked on a wide variety of projects including incinerator system problem solving and detailed design of modifications to improve throughput and combustion safety as well as furnace safety studies, accident investigation and preparation of detailed training programs to satisfy current industry standards. Prior to Banks Engineering, Dan has held positions at the John Zink Company, IT/McGill Environmental Systems and Mobil Oil Corporation. He is a published author and received his Masters in Chemical Engineering from Rice University.
